The August Phlocking will be Tuesday, August 8 at 7:00 pm at The Ranch House on Celanese Road. The Ranch House is a new place and they want to treat us right. There will be food and drink specials and music by Ansel Couch. Come join us for this special night of entertainment and fun with the phlock. From I – 77 take Celanese toward York. The Ranch House will be on your right before you get to the Harris Teeter (it used to be Toyo). The Ranch House is only equipped to take cash and checks, no plastic, come prepared. We will be collecting SCHOOL SUPPLIES at this month’s meeting, please bring in paper, pencils, crayons, markers, book bags or any other school necessity.

Interim Report

We started our year with a new board (except for secretary) and declining membership. Over the first four months we have cleaned up our membership roll and our email group list. We wanted to make sure that only our members were getting information about the club and the parties that we have. You had to be a member or a guest of a member to be a part of Sandlapper functions and activities. We dropped about 30 people from our email list and trimmed our roll to 43. We have added 9 new members since April for a total membership of 52. We are trying to find a permanent home for our monthly meeting and have tried out three different places. They have been too small or too cold, but we hope the next one will be just right. Even with having to move around we are still getting 25 to 30 members at our meetings. We have started our year off on the right foot and now look to build on what we have started.

8th Anniversary Party. 3/25/06 Baliwyck Clubhouse, Ft. Mill, SC raised $150 for Hospice. Cheryl Howell headed up the Hospice funds raiser.
