*Jimmy can be found in the latest issue of Fortune Magazine (June 21, 1999) in an article entitled
Is Warren Buffett Related To Jimmy Buffett. The article can be found on page 42 and has a picture of Warren and Jimmy, in a suit no less, straightening each other's ties.

*It looks like SPHC members Mark and Kelly Sebastian are stars once again! Though they weren't able to make the opening of the Beach House on the Moon Tour Blockbuster Pavilion in Charlotte, their vanity license plate did. Their FRTCAKE plate was pheatured again on the Margarita-Vision screen during Buffett's classic Changes In Latitudes, Changes In Attitudes. Seems Jimmy has held on to this footage since 1995. Now we need to get our butts in gear and find them tickets to the July 10th show in Atlanta so they can once again revel in their Parrot-hedonistic glory.

*Jimmy was spotted at South Park mall in Charlotte Tuesday afternoon just hours before his show at Blockbuster Pavilion. Hmmm, perhaps he forgot it was Savannah's 20th birthday or maybe buying a self-congratulatory present for surviving her teen years.

*Beach House On The Moon debuted on Billboard's Pop/Rock Charts at number 8 with just under 100,000 units sold. It slips to number 15 this week. Meanwhile, the CD is the number 1 seller at CDNow and number 3 in overall internet sales.

*Amy Lee, Jimmy's lead saxophonist, has a new web site up & running. The addy is www.amyleesax.com and you'll find sound bytes from her new CD Inside the Outside as well as pictures from the Charleston rehearsals, the Charlotte concert and the making of Beach House on the Moon.

*Scott Kirby has been signed on to play at Boardwalk Billy's in University Place this coming Wednesday night, June 9th at 9:30. Cover charge is only $3.00 and Scott will be handing out free Hog's Breath Saloon tee shirts. Why Hog's Breath Saloon tee shirts? Well that's the Key West landmark where Scott plays on a regular basis. He rarely plays outside of Key West so come on out & see the man behind Jimmy's Bank Of Bad Habits. Those of us who were fortunate to see him at Captain Harry's in Charleston back in January will tell you this is one show you won't want to miss. Bobby Donaldson, Scott's guitar player, will be accompanying him for this one night stand sure to have people talking for months. Hope to see y'all there.

*The paperback version of A Pirate Looks @ 50 hits USA Today's Best Sellers List at number 48.
