Live Club Trini Update

April 13th and 14th will go down as one phun weekend in New Orleans. Club Trini, made up mostly of Buffett's Coral Reefer Band members, played both nights at the Margaritaville Café. Recording both sessions for an upcoming Live CD. Joining them for both sets was none other than Mr. Buffett. According to reports that have since filtered in, Jimmy did not try to take the spotlight from his compadres. Both nights he joined them in mid-set to roll off a few new tunes as well as some classics. Hey You, Outa The Gene Pool was not played, though a couple of new tunes did make the rotation (Come On In, Bartender In Cairo, Louisiana and Fortune Teller). Club Trini did an instrumental of African friend, Club Trini Back In Town, Mad Music, Love Is Made Of This (with Nadirah Shakoor at lead vocal), Trini Style, Heat and many others. Bubbas tunes ranges from First Look, Math Suks, Creola, I Will Play for Gumbo, No Woman, No Cry, King Of Somewhere Hot, Jamaica Mistaka, Pascagoula Run, Knees Of My Heart, Stars On The Water, Brown Eyed Girl, Southern Cross and The Stones' You Can't Always Get What You Want. The expected release date is sometime in June.
